Upon receiving words about the death of the 17-year-old Jamal Utton’s death, Drake posted a tribute to Utton on his Instagram profile. In addition, the rapper left the following message: ‘Heard this young man was a big fan. Rest In Peace Jamal. Watch over me from way up above!’
The post has received over 200k likes and has also garnered up to 7,000 comments, with a number of the comments offering thanks to the singer/rapper.
‘Still crazy this happened, social media is so powerful! Nothing but love to anyone who supported and took part in this,’ one Instagram user wrote while commenting on Drake’s post.
