The late ambassador Olusegun Olushola is set to be honoured at the 2012 edition of the Nigerian Broadcasters Awards (NBA), according to a statement from the organizers.
A two-day event has been set aside to honour the late broadcaster, diplomat and patron of the arts; starting with seminar on August 16 followed by a novelty match between Nigerian TV-Radio presenters and Nollywood actors on August 18.
‘We’ve decided to dedicate the pre-events to the man who was a great influence to the broadcasters and movie practitioners. Moreover, we intend to immortalise Ambassador Olusola with a couple of awards in his name, and if possible a scholarship for best Student in theatre Arts and Mass communication, also in his name’, Kazeem Popoola, the CEO of The Reality Entertainment, organizers of the NBA says.
