Hearts will be broken and many will weep. It’s only a day after 63 year-old politician Adams Oshiomhole‘s wedding to the extraordinarily beautiful Lara Fortes – leaving many Nigerian men with a curious realisation: there appears to be other things that matter more than six packs, full, groomed beards and Quilox VIP card after all.
Now, bloggers are reporting that Davido, one of Africa’s most eligible bachelors, a bona fide member of the millionaires’ club, and a pop star A LOT OF LADIES want to bed (and maybe keep) has fathered his first child.
Those close to the BET & MTV award winning singer insist the story is FALSE, and NET is not able to immediately make independent confirmations. But since we launched five years ago, not a single celeb has admitted anything of sorts.
Wizkid told us boldly he did not have a baby on the way, when we interviewed him exclusively in 2011. Ice Prince and his reps denied NET‘s exclusive story about his baby in 2012 And the story of Tiwa and Tunji Balogun is well documented.
So it’s difficult to believe when Davido’s minders say we should ignore those peddling these baby rumours.
We’ll keep digging, if only to decide if congratulations are in order; or if to assure all the forlorn ladies, that, the coast is still clear. LOL
