Fuji music star, K1 De Ultimate will be dropping his first EP, Fuji: The Sound soon, and here’s everything you need to know.

Fuji: The Sound is now in the process of mixing and mastering. It’s expected to be released in the first week or mid July 2017.

Number of Songs

The studio work will comprise not more than six songs by the Fuji music star.

Duration

Wasiu Ayinde has released over 20 studio and live album since his debut, Abode Mecca in 1979.

His songs are known to be usually longer than 20 minutes each.

But this time, K1 wants to embrace the present day style which is why tracks on Fuji: The Sound will only last for four to five minutes.

Collaborations

The EP produced by Mystro will feature collaborations with rising star Toby Grey and more.

Fuji music has grown beyond our expectation and it’s now the future of what music is all about.

Most of the hit songs the Nigerian music industry has produced in recent years are influenced by either Fuji or Afrobeat rhythm and sound.

Which is why K1 now believes Fuji is no more an indigenous sound, but a ‘global movement.’

Fuji: The Sound is not a CD production, as such, it will be made available on music platforms across world.
