Humphrey Okeke better known as H-Man has returned to the Nigerian music scene after three years of a self-imposed sabbatical.
The pop singer who wowed us with hit songs like ‘Ndoli ndoli’ says he just returned from the UK with a Master Degree in Marketing and is ready to take the music scene by storm, not as a singer but as a music executive.
The Imo state singer has teamed up with talented music producer VC Perez and another partner who’d rather remain silent to float a new record label named August Pee Entertainment.
Already, the Label has signed three artistes – upcoming acts Splash, J Blash and Bino.
Splash real name Nwadimma Genevieve (who recently asked to be released from Mikel Obi’s MMM Records) is the frontline act for the label. A video has been shot for her first single ‘Church agbasa’ which will premiere very soon.
‘Like I have said before, I am a huge fan of music; I love the arts from the bottom of my heart. I stopped active music for personal reasons but I returned because music is my first love and of course as a business man the best feeling you can get from an investment is when you invest in what you love and that is exactly the feeling I am getting from my return to music’, H-man tells NET.
