Some people think tennis is on break because Serena Williams is on maternity leave. The 23 time Grand Slam winner was away from the recently held US Open as she delivered her daughter last week.
Today Serena posted a photo of the bundle of joy for the first time and revealed her name: Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. Alexis because her father is Alex, but her middle name is the cream of the crop.
Olympia is the site of the ancient Greece Olympics where Zeus is said to have started a quadrennial athletic competition. That was what gave birth to the modern Olympic games- Serena has four gold medals to her name.
