GOTV, a new digital television has launched its new services in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
GM of the digital terrestrial TV, Mayo Okunola describes GOTV as ‘a low cost digital television service, offering the greatest selection of local channels, made in Africa for Africans as well as the best international channels’.
The new TV service offers up to 20 channels per frequency and will feature in its bouquet TV channels such as Africamagic Plus, Discovery, Disney Junior, E-Africa, E! Entertainment, Nickelodeon, Select Sport, Style, BBC World News and Al Jazeera.
In addition, local TV channels AIT, LTV, NTA Plus, NN24 and STV will also be featured.
GOTV, a subsidiary of DSTV is being launched by Details Nigeria, one of the licensed pioneers of Multipoint Multi-channel Distribution Services (MMDS) in Nigeria.

I purchased gotv decoder, it was recieving signals after installation but after a 2day consecutive rain fall it stopped working. No signal at all. After following the instruction of a customer care on phone, it still wont work. But other gotv decoders have signals and are working except mine. U guys should pls fix it up or replace it cos this is happening in just less than a week after purchase. Pls reply. Thanks. I’m from Okrika Rivers State.

having research into the inherent benefit of GOTV, I have succeeded in convincing eight of my collegues to buy. They have shown the willingness but the price is a bit beyond their capacity. Kindly bring down the price so as to make it affordable to people that are willing to buy but could not due to pricing.

Gotv to me I encourage everyone to use bcos its different in picture quality,it doesnt take time to restart unlike that of DSTV which takes time most especially if there was no light and then the light was brought, it will take a lot of time for DSTV to boot but in Gotv, it goes straight and start showing witout booting.infact I will like to be a dealer bcos I like to do business inwhich I can be able to convience my customer wit the proof and envidence of wat iam saling,marketing or distributing….once again,”GOTV” you a BOMB””””””””””'””
