Global Entertainment: 70 Important events you must not miss in September

September 2015 is promising for entertainment devotees. Below are 70 announcements, events and projects you should anticipate.

Music: Albums

Adele: The singer’s long-awaited third LP, is expected to drop this month, following a number of delays.

Brymo: He recently disclosed plans to release his first international, but 5th album ‘Trance’ this month. The former Chocolate Music act is now signed to American label, TMG.

Davido: After 2 previous postponements, Omo Baba Olowo admitted that his album, named ‘Baddest’ is due for September. The album features appearances by Meek Mill, Future and others.

Iyanya: The album, whose title has not been made known yet, is a follow up to his first album, My Story released in 2009 and the second titled Desire in 2013.

Jesse Jagz: His album titled Return of the Gods will drop this month.

Lana Del Rey: Lana will release her upcoming third LP titled ‘Honeymoon’ this month. In January, Lana revealed she already had nine songs  for the collection.

Leona Lewis: She recently sighted a recording contract with Island Records UK. Her album ‘I AM’ is due on September 11.

Orezi: Ghen Ghen which is Orezi’s debut album failed to drop on September 1, 2015 as planned. But we can’t wait to feel what he has to offer.

R Kelly: The singer-songwriter’s 14th studio album Buffet, drops on September 25.

Samklef: The 14-track album titled Sound Of Muzik, will be released on September 14. It features collaborations with pop stars including Olamide, Vector, Lil Kesh, Falz, Small Doctor and others

Sarkodie: Sark’s ‘Mary album drops on September 12.

The Game: The rapper will release his seventh studio album titled the The Documentary 2, on  September 25.  The new collection is related to his debut album, The Documentary, which was released in 2005.

Wizkid: His first Starboy album, should finally drop this month. It features collaborations with Chris Brown, Angelique Kidjo, Drake and many others.

Sports

Floyd Mayweather and Andre Berto fight: After knocking out Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather will be equaling Rocky Marciano’s world record of 49-0 if he wins on Saturday, September 12 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Lionel Messi will mark his 15th anniversary, as FC Barcelona player

Shows

Hennessy Artistry 2015 kicked off with an R&B concert last weekend. This year’s project will run through September and beyond.

DJ Jimmy Jatt’s annual Jimmy’s Jump Off will make a record-setting return on September 30.

Nigerian Entertainment Awards 2015 is already swimming in some controversies. But the event is still set to attract the finest in the entertainment scene when it holds its 10th edition in America on September 6.
