‘Ghetto Dreamz’, the much talked about biopic on the late rapper Dagrin has gathered so much attention around it this past few months.
‘Ghetto Dreamz’ directed by Daniel Adenimokan tells the story of the growing years, teen struggles, rise to fame and eventual death of Oladapo Olaonipekun better known to his fans as Dagrin. Trybson, an artiste under Stingomania Records plays Dagrin while others who featured in the biopic are Nollywood stars like Doris Simeon, Rachel Oniga, Pa Kasumu, Kenny Saint brown, Jaywon and a fast-rising Oyindamola Odesola.
In addition, after the premiere, a memorial concert will then hold at the National Stadium (Gymnasium Hall) on Saturday, April 30, 2011. It will feature acts Olamide, Dj Zeez, Naeto C, KSB, Jaywon, YQ, Goldie, Edris Abdulkareem, Sheyman, General Pype, Trybson Dudukoko, Baba Dee, Kas, Flavour, and Obesere.
‘This project is actually bigger than what we thought, a lot of Dagrin’s fans are thankful for what we have done and have not been silent about it. These are the facts that get us confident that the movie will succeed. Ghetto Dreamz will be in the cinemas across the country from April 22nd so people can go all out to discover all they never knew about Dagrin’, producer of ‘Ghetto Dreamz’, Executive Producer Ope Banwo speaks on the forthcoming premiere.
