Ghanaian man arrested in Canada, charged with fraud for selling rice packaged as iPhone

Andrew Boateng Gyimah has been arrested in Toronto, Canada, for allegedly selling packaged rice as an iPhone to two people.

The victims soon noticed the scam and contacted the police who arrested the Canadian of Ghanaian descent.

Gyimah now faces two counts of fraud under $5,000, two counts of false pretence under $5,000 and two more counts of breaching a court order.
