Though reluctant to speak about the incident, she conceded to Kwabena Anokye Adisi in a captivating interview that she lost interest in love after the unpleasant incident.
‘I don’t want to talk about it,’ Cindy, who said she once hawked on the street and worked as a maidservant, began.
‘I was sexually taken advantage of at the tender age of 19. This wasn’t the kind of life I wanted and till date, my interest in the word, Love has died,’ she said.
However, she said that the man that did this to her is the man with whom she had a relationship at the time.
As the 8th child out of eleven children born to her peasant parents, Cindy Thompson revealed that she is now open to marriage but wants people to know she is not a virgin.
