Born Gbenro Emmanuel Ajibade decades ago in the Borno state capital, Maiduguri, the actor became a popular face across the continent and beyond when he appeared in Africa’s biggest series, ‘Tinsel’ where he acted as Soji Bankole.
Gbenro obtained an Education degree in Biology from the Benue State University but has since abandoned that aspect of his life to focus on his interest in entertainment.
He started out as a model before getting a role in Tinsel which has so far made him one of the most recognised faces on screen. Gbenro Ajibade has also featured in other movies including ‘Gbomo Gbomo Express’ and ‘The Wages’.
He is married to fellow Tinsel star, Osas Ighodaro and their wedding has been described as one of the biggest celebs weddings of 2015.
