Oscar winning actress, Lupital Nyong’o, who was one of the top African celebrities expected to react promptly to the horror and brutality of the killing of 147 students of Garissa University College in Kenya, has finally come out to console the families of the victims.
On Thursday, April 2, 2015, Somalia al Shabaab militants stormed the university, killing 147 students believed to be Christians and leaving several others injured.
Several celebrities have come out to show their support for the victims and their family members via their social media but Lupita Nyong’o who is a Kenya-born American actress has stayed mute for days before taking to Instagram on Saturday, April 11, 2015 to pray for the victms and their families.
