The Spanish government’s anti violence commission has handed down a 6-month ban on the angry Real Madrid fans that jeered Gareth Bale in his car following the El Clasico defeat to Barcelona on Sunday, March 22, 2015.
The disciplinary action, taken on Thursday, March 26, 2015, will also see the two Madrid fans pay a sum of £2.2k fine each after footage showed the fans harassing the former Tottenham Hotspur star as he leaves the club’s training base in his white Bentley.
Bale wasn’t the only one targeted, with Jesé Rodríguez and Sergio Ramos also approached but it is the anger directed at the Welshman that drew the punishment.
