Real Madrid fans are not happy, while gamblers will have suffered huge losses after staking their money on the Spanish giants to win this weekend.
The Blancos however failed to do just that against Eibar at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this evening, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw instead.
Welsh star Gareth Bale had cancelled out Eibar’s sixth minute goal and came close to getting the winner later in the match, only to see his header come off the post.
Spanish striker Alvaro Morata also saw his goal – off a rebound of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s effort – ruled out for offside as Real Madrid were left frustrated.
Madrid have now drawn four consecutive matches, as Zinedine Zidane‘s men drew with Villarreal and Las Palmas in La Liga, as well as in their UEFA Champions League group stage game against Dortmund on Tuesday.
