The death of comedienne and TV host, Joan Rivers in the early hours of Thursday, September 4, 2014 shocked her fans world over especially because many had hoped she would recover going by the updates released.

Sadly, the 81-year-old died after several days on life support at Mount Sinai hospital in New York City.
