The 2026 GRAMMY nominations have been unveiled, and Kendrick Lamar is leading the charge with an impressive nine nominations. The Compton rapper is a strong contender in major categories, including Album of the Year for his critically acclaimed record, GNX. Also nominated for Album of the Year is Lady Gaga’s Mayhem.
Speaking of Gaga, she follows closely behind Kendrick Lamar with seven nominations, including Song of the Year for her hit single “Abracadabra”. Other artists with multiple nominations include Sabrina Carpenter, who is up for Record of the Year, and Bad Bunny, who has made history as the first Spanish-language artist to earn three major nominations in the same year: Record of the Year, Best Album, and Song of the Year.
