Actor and former TV show star, Geoffery Owens who stared in the popular American family TV series, The Cosby Show may see his trying days come to an end, many thanks to American movie producer and actor, Tyler Perry
Geoffrey Owens now 57 was spotted bagging groceries at Trader Joe’s where he earns around $11 per hour. A customer who he attended to recognised him, took his photo and shared online where he was excessively job-shamed.
But support has come his way and he may soon find his way back to fame again as Tyler Perry has now offered him a spot in his next movie
Perry who made the announcement via a Twitter post reached out to Owens to come and join him on set for a new production, saying had so much respect for people who hustle between gigs and that was ‘the measure of a true artist’.
