A former Cool FM OAP Yinka Olonode has allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a fifteen-storey hotel in Portland, US.
Olonode, 34, who in 2002 hosted the ‘Get a Grip’ show was also one of the first faces to appear in telecoms company MTN’s TV campaigns.
Oregon Live Online reports that Olonode died on April 29, 2013, falling from the 15th floor of The Nines Hotel at 525 S.W. Morrison St., where Departure Restaurant and Lounge is located
According to the report, Olonode was an illegal immigrant in 2010. He was once arrested on a felony vandalism allegation.
