Forget Kim Kardashian and her half-sister, Kylie Jenner‘s popularity on social media, their following on Instagram has been dwarfed by singer, Selena Gomez‘s.
Selena, 24, has smashed Instagram’s record after hitting a staggering 100 million followers on Sunday.

On the Facebook-owned app, Kim boasts of 83.5m followers, while Kylie commands 75.3m. Beyonce‘s Beyhives total 85.2m while Selena’s ex, Justin Bieber had about 78m followers before he deleted his account in August.
Despite Selena not being so active on the photo-sharing app (her last post was five weeks ago), she has gained 10 million more followers in two months since hitting 90 million followers in July.

Two months ago, a top social media analytics company, D’Marie estimated that Selena’s social media posts are worth $550,000 (N173m) when they appear across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
