Actress and ViacomCBS Networks Africa presenter, Ada Afoluwake (Folu Storms) Ogunkeye will moderate a panel session at the MTN ‘Drug Convos’ webinar tomorrow, Friday, June 26, 2020, at 1:30 pm.
The event, organised by MTN Nigeria in partnership with The Netng, Business Day newspaper, music channel MTV Base and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), is in commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking also known as ‘World Drug Day’.
Folu Storms will moderate a panel that features comedian and Wazobia FM host, Chinedu ‘Nedu Wazobia’ Emmanuel; recording artiste, Praiz; and artiste and actor, David Jones David. They will discuss addiction and how first-time users get hooked.
The webinar titled ‘Better knowledge for better care: An ally against drug abuse’ will also feature candid discussions about drugs and substance abuse from actors, psychologists, activists, influencers and former addicts.
The event is focused on building a vibrant platform that will enable young Nigerians to actively participate and contribute to in-depth conversations about substance abuse and addiction.
