Popular Nigerian fashion designer Folake Majin recently unveiled her ‘The Royal Collection’ alongside her daughters’ ‘The Breathless Experience’ by Miss Majin and ‘The Circle Revolution Collection’ by Gogo Majin on Sunday November 20, 2011.
The fashion show which took place at the Civic Centre was attended by the first lady of Lagos State- Abimbola Emanuella Fashola, Oprah Benson, Abba Folawiyo, Betty Irabor, Adora Oleh, Frank Osodi, and Debby Ogunjobi. Others include Tee A, Seye Kehinde, Tara Fela Durotoye, Funmi Ajila, Adesuwa Oyenokwe, Katung Aduwak, Audu Maikori and many more.
To spice up the posh event, R&B fast rising singer Praiz and the sassy Tiwa Savage thrilled the guest with their songs as the crowd swayed to their music.
‘My inspiration for the collection came from an accessory that has been made and used by my mom for her clients for more than a decade on many of her haute couture designs. I took that accessory and built the whole collection around it’, Gogo Majin, designer for GM4FM.
The show brilliantly anchored by Nollywood actor O.C Ukeje and Tosin Otukedo.
