As the eight season of the Gulder Ultimate Search reality show slowly takes shape, regional selections have already kicked off in Abuja, Benin, Owerri and Lagos.
The selections have seen old and new applicants. The old, who are taking another shot at making the final list while the new, an opportunity to prove their worth. However, both have a common goal which is the very attractive top prize of N7 million, a brand new 2011 luxury SUV and the N500,000 wardrobe allowance and not to forget the title ‘Ultimate Man’.
The lucky applicants who have scaled through the rigorous selection will proceed to the final selections party, where the last eliminations will take place live on stage in front of invited guests and the press.
This year’s show will be jointly anchored by Nollywood actor Bob Manuel Udokwu and R&B king Darey Art Alade.

I don’t understand what this country is turning to,can u imagine that I registered for GUS 8 and the information they sent to me was that the screening would be on the 5-10 sept 2011@ national stadium and union bank sport complex,now the d day had finally arrived,I got there only to find out that the screening was done last week.
Does it mean that NB breeds people that gives wrong information or is it a way of selling their products?I think they are gradually losing their integrity

is like this people that conduct the screening at regional are just doing it for their self interest not by the merit they would have tell us that is all about builty contest not endurance any more youth are disappointed by NB
It’s not just about endurance, you have to be good-looking, intelligent,and physically fit to be the ultimate man or woman.

Is very bad of the company not to compensate those going for the screening who got accident on there way to abuja from jos,along keffi road on last year’s screening.
I was a victim of an opel car that totally damaged and by God’s grace got to the old parade ground with bandaged & stitched arm.
Explained everything to the officials but the said notthing.
Gus ua doin a wonderful job,i’m really give kudos 2 darey art alade is a man of intergrity,but nevertheless i’m sad by bein evicted my baby.KIKELOMO.
