Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker, Fernando Torres, has announced his return to his boyhood club, Atletico Madrid on loan from AC Milan.
The Spanish star, who has struggled to reach lofty goal scoring heights since he left Liverpool for Chelsea in then British record deal of £50million in 2011, moved to AC Milan on loan in August 2014.
The deal, which became permanent only days ago, has effected his being loaned back to Atletico Madrid where he started his senior career in 2001 and the excited striker known widely as El Nino, took to Twitter today, December 29, 2014 to make the announcement: ‘At last back home. Thanks to all that have made this dream come true, Forza @ Atleti.#TorresHaVuelto.’
