Popular Fashion designer and pundit Remi Osholake popular known as Remi Lagos has passed away.
Osholake is said to have passed away this morning at a London hospital after undergoing a surgical operation, bowing out to the deadly disease of cancer. She was aged 51.
Details are scanty for now, but the news of her death was announced by her very close and long-time friend Funmi Iyanda on social network Twitter.
‘My dearest friend Ms Remi Osholake (Remi Lagos) passd on dis morning. She had cancer. She was a remarkable, creative force 2 d end. Life is‘, @Funmilola tweeted.
Friends will describe Remi (who had a trademark of always dressing in black) as an introvert. She however still successfully ran her business for 25 straight years without throwing herself into the limelight as her kind of job would usually require.
Remi trained at the East Croydon School of Art & Design, Chelsea School of Art & Design and Inchbald School of Art & Interior Design.
She successfully expanded the creative phases of Remi Lagos on prestigious fashion runways in Europe, the United States of America and Africa.
May she rest in peace.
