With Olamide’s new dance move, ‘ShakitiBobo’ creating a buzz around the entertainment industry, ace designer and L’Original judge, Mai Atafo is the latest to catch the dance bug as one of the many highlights on the first leg of the Fayrouz L’Original season two auditions.
The auditions which kicked off on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the International Conference Centre in the University of Ibadan, had hundreds of young undergraduates, graduates and youth corps members in attendance trying to wow the judges with various striking and creative pieces.
Mai Atafo is back this year as a judge on the creative platform and was quick to tackle teams on their illustrations of the task given, The Black Swan. In no time, he got the other judges roaring with laughter at his hilarious antics including going up to one of the models, taking off his shoes and measuring heights.
Later on during an interview with fellow judges, Kunbi Oyelese of April By Kunbi, Kelechi Amadi-Obi and Rhema Akabuogu of House of Tara, he gave everyone a feel of his skills on the dance floor as he tried the ‘Shakitibobo’ dance.
