Yaw’s father, O.N Onukwube reportedly passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Umuogwalu Village in Awka, Anambra State.
The Wazobia FM show anchor revealed the sad news through his Twitter page: ‘Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints… RIP Dad’, he tweeted.
Fans immediately expressed their sympathy, tweeting back consoling messages.
‘Uncle yaw sorry about ur dad…plz take heart…..God knows best!!!‘, user @MarzLadyrainbow wrote.
‘Eternal rest grant him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace Amen‘, user @Amoomarie wrote.
Yaw’s father, popularly called ‘Paa Apastol’ was 88 years old.
