Chelsea and Man City have been told that in order to get the services of one of Europe’s lethal strikers they should be willing to offer him nothing less than 250, 000 pounds per week. Jorge Mendes who is Falcao’s agent has said this is the least minimum wage package his client can accept before moving to the English Premier League.
Chelsea is in the forefront of the race to snap up the striker who has been on the personal wish list of Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich especially since his 50 million pounds gamble on Torres hasn’t worked out so well.
Chelsea is said to meet Falcao’s demands but they will meet stiff competition from Manchester City. Man City is still pissed they missed out on the services of Van Persie and want a top striker as they are reportedly ready to sell either Dzeko or Tevez in the summer.
It is believed Falcao is already learning English. The striker who plays for Atletico Madrid has already scored 27 goals this season…
