Jay Z attended the 2017 Sundance Film Festival to promote Time: The Kalief Browder Story, but the highlight of the event was when a reporter attempted to shift the focus by asking what Jigga might consider a silly question.

The reporter asked Jay Z what his thoughts were on Donald Trump, and Hov shut them down with the quickness.
‘Not going to answer that,’ he simply said.
Now, that might be a very short answer – but what got our attention is the ‘I don’t give a hoot’ attitude at which he said it.
Very ‘unlooking’!
Like; Who the heck is Donald Trump, I’ve never heard that name before or don’t mention that name here… He’s a nuisance.

Jay Z publicly supported Hillary Clinton on her campaign trail, and even held a special concert just a few days before Election Day.
Trump later criticized Clinton and Jay Z for the language used at the event, though he did admit, ‘I actually like Jay Z.’
Maybe this reporter was hoping to get a juicy sound bite from Jay. In the end they just ruined it for everyone else.
