Her journey to the world of fashion began when she was scouted by Elite Model Look Nigeria team while on her way to the salon. She then attended the EMLN 2014 casting and emerged among the top 10 finalists. She emerged winner of the Elite Model Look Nigeria 2014 female category after numerous runway segments which saw twenty finalists strut the runway in everything from swimwear to amazing dresses.
The female winner was finally announced by the end of the night, going home with various prizes including an all-expense paid trip to participate in the elite model look world finals in China. Mayowa Nicholas again emerged in the top 10 at the Elite Model Look World finals, automatically getting a deal with Elite Model Paris along with so many other benefits.
It won’t be long until the 16-year old model, who left nine female competitors behind her at the competition in Nigeria, will start appearing in ad campaigns and editorials that will make her famous. She is currently in Paris for the Paris Fashion Week and is expected to walk for major fashion weeks around the world this year.
