The need for platforms to create opportunities and celebrate young talent is now more vital than ever, and Qtaby Online Talent Hunt is aiming to do just that.
Organisers of the Qtaby Online Talent Hunt have announced the 2nd edition of the competition after its maiden outing last year which took place during the COVID-19 lockdown and had over 400 participants showcase their talents over several categories to millions of people through various social media platforms.
This second edition will feature the CEO of talent management company, Now Muzik, Efe Omorogbe; Media personality and producer, Olisa Adibua, comedian Efe Warriboy, singers Lami Phillips, Orezi and actor Femi Branch as judges for the music, media, acting and comedy categories. This year also debuts a new video directing category to widen the scope of talent for the showcase, organisers say.
According to organisers, the winner will go home with gifts and grand prizes worth 1 million Naira. The winner from each category will walk home with several prizes, including a deal with YOUTRACE for the winner of the video directing category and a movie role in a cinema movie. There will also be lots of consolation prizes for other participants.
The event will be hosted by Ghanaian broadcaster and TV host Jacquiline Acquaye and co-hosted by Gabonese influencer Miss Meezy. The road to the final is getting shorter as 15 finalists from 800 initial participants will be chosen this week and camped in a house at the end of the month for one week.
May the best talent win!
