Eedris, who is now the national coordinator of the ‘I Am Nigeria Project,’ has dropped a new campaign song for the President titled ‘Shine Your Eyes.’
He recently spoke to NET saying: ‘The dude is someone that really loves this country and really wants to do something, I believe in his dream and I’m standing by Goodluck. I’ve not met with him but I remember in 2012 at Ojota in Lagos I was there with the Occupy Nigeria protesters to insult him but for everyone that has common sense, you’ll realise that the dude is actually trying to make use of our funds to give us all these things that we asked for that his predecessors never did. Everybody has a choice and for me I will never go back again, for goodness sake, Buhari has ruled us in the past in different capacities, we want to move on.’
He went on to add: ‘Goodluck is a sweet person, and the day I finally meet him, I’ll ask him just one question and the question is why has he refused to jail anybody.’
