Two albums in the kitty plus a bag of videos accredited to his name (and don’t forget the footwear deal), Oluwadamilare Okulaja better known as Durella will any day consider himself as a successful artiste in the Nigerian entertainment scene. And with the success of course comes the spotlight, fancy lifestyle and the hatred, jealousy….at least Durella thinks so….
‘My life‘ is a warning song, more like a plea. Simple and straight to the point, Durella chants the chorus ‘Enemies let me live my life…Enemies let me live my life…Enemies let me live my life…Enemies let me live my life‘. So i’m guessing they (the enemies of course) would get the picture without using a four figure table.
The video, directed by Aje Films comes off brilliant. The lightning is accurate, just enough to create a dark-themed scenario where the very energetic Durella gesticulates and displays his very unique (perhaps I should say funny) dance steps. He keeps it simple just like his costumes too. A sight for sore eyes if you ask me!
