The tributes keep pouring in for the late Dagrin who lost his life exactly one year ago as some who have known him or been influenced by his music are chunking out tributes in form of well written and scripted songs.
But DJ Neptune who featured Dagrin on his ‘123‘ remix alongside rappers M.I and Naeto C, has gone a step forward to recall verses from two great rap legends – The Notorious B.I.G and 2Pac who can arguably be tagged as the best rappers to ever walk this planet (Quote me!). All three rappers lost their lives at their prime. Dagrin 25, B.I.G 24, 2pac 26.
DJ Neptune mixes Dagrin’s verses from his posthumous release ‘If I die‘, Biggie’s ‘Suicide‘ and 2pac’s ‘If I die tonight‘ to make one song. This is if i must say one of the best mixes i have ever heard from a Nigerian DJ. Beautiful choice of verses as the song stays around the same theme…death. Listen
