Before D’banj’s interview on Olisa Adibua’s The Truth, the veteran broadcaster had shot 11 episodes with other super stars like 2face idibia, Wizkid, Davido, Ali Baba, Psquare, DJ Jimmy Jatt and several others.
And truth be told, all the episodes have been explosive with little or no razzmatazz or attempt to shy away from certain areas.
However, Olisa Adibua released a teaser of #The Truth with D’banj on January 15, 2015, 10 days before the actual interview dropped.
And as funny as it gets, the interview began with a short advert of D’banj’s 10th year anniversary celebration and all through the interview, a banner advertising D’banj’s Koko Garri is conspicuously placed in the background for everyone to see.
In previous editions of #the Truth with Olisa, he has never failed to drill his guests on recent and topical issues about and surrounding them. In the editions with Wizkid and Davido, he drilled each of them so as to get the underlying answers on the beef between them which at that time was the hottest gist in town.
Apart from saying Dr Sid broke up Mo’hits, the 34-minute long interview pretty has nothing new about it and surprisingly, Olisa failed to ask D’banj issues as current as the alleged debt mess and court case he’s tied with.
Also, for the first time, Olisa decided to break the D’banj episode into parts and fans of the show await the other part of the interview to see if it would be worth their time or not.

Why did u guys posting negative news about D'banj? I believe u can get d actual fact from a reliable source if u guys are really interested in the DEBT Allegation, but all you guys do is to guess and buy a cheap stories from bad belle people… No wonder no one is commenting on any of your posts.. Dayo, very good review of Olisa's interview of D'Banj on "The Truth" Part 1. Nothing really new. I just watched the Part 2 which just came out. It is much better, Olisa really pushed him and asked all the questions that were missing in Part 1, court case, debt allegations etc, good, bad, ugly, all, very frank discussion and they almost quarrelled! And with all due respect to Oloko who commented earlier, this is not posting negative news about D'Banj (although 4 sure a lot of people do that) but this interview is D'Banj himself speaking, so you can't get more direct from the source. The Part 2 interview is on Olisa's website http://www.olisa.tv , I definitely recommend it.
