Here’s a track that leaked last week, making many believe the late rapper may have had a premonition about his death…

Presently, Nigerian music lovers everywhere will have to live with the fact that Dagrin eventually died, eight days after his tragic auto crash. Hours after the rapper was confirmed dead, a fresh single voiced by him, “If I Die”, produced by Effrenzy leaked on the internet.
The hook of the song suggests premonition of his exit. His delivery sounded like he left his sick bed to the studio to record his last words for the streets to deal with.
The hook of the song says: If I die/ Make u no cry for me – for me, e je n si mi/ E jo ke je n mi/ko le ye won/ko le ye won meaning “If I die, let me rest, please let me breath/they can’t understand…”
The lyrical content of the song is simple yet very deep and spiritual.
When 2Pac was alive, he made a handful of post mortal songs that made his eventual death even more controversial.

When the street held on to what it knew, Dagrin knew what it was. His sad exit may just be a trip to the land of true Legends or a bid to leave the stage when the applaud was becoming too deafening.
