Wednesday, November 26, 2014 was the birthday of one of Africa’s finest music producers, Michael Collins otherwise called Don Jazzy.
It was a day for his many fans and friends to wish him a ‘happy birthday’, and he did get the birthday wishes in huge torrents from all over the world.
But the striking thing is that Kokomaster, D’banj was one of those who tweeted a shout-out to the award-winning producer and boss of Mavin Records despite the manner in which the former partners and co-owners of Mo’ Hits parted ways.
D’banj’s tweet reads: ‘Happy Birthday to a brother & amazing friend @donjazzy May 2day mark d beginning of another phase of God’s dumbfounding blessings in your life. #DoroProducer’.
D’banj’s tweet came in a little late, but it sure signifies that both parties are still on talking terms following their 2012 break up.
D’banj has also recently revealed that Don Jazzy is one of the producers working on the album to mark the 10th year anniversary of his career billed to drop in the first quarter of 2015.
