Today makes it the 13th day since Yoruba-movie actor Baba Suwe was taken into custody by officials of the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and rumours flying around suggest that the actor has ‘excreted pellets of cocaine’.
But speaking with NDLEA spokesperson Ofoyeju Mitchell, he says the rumour should be treated as false news and that he is still under observation. ‘It’s not true, thanks’, Mitchell said.
Baba Suwe’s publicist Olamitunji Samuel has also waved away the hearsay talk saying ‘there’s no truth in it’. ‘People don’t try to get the real information’, Samuel told Nigerian Entertainment Today.
On Friday, October 21, 2011, a Federal High Court granted the NDLEA a further 15 days to detain Baba Suwe after presenting evidence that suggest the actor had swallowed ‘large amounts of drugs’ in his body. With 12 days to go, the actor is yet to excrete any ‘hard substance’.

Hmmmmm……i think its about time NDLEA tells us what is going on…cos i dont know how long they would want to observe some one that is highly possibles to have excreted since two weeks back, even an animal would have excreted 2 times in a day…so what is taking BABA SUWE to excretes????.I think the NDLEA is hiding something from us…cos this is getting to long for us Nigerians.WE NEED THE TRUTH.
