Today, May 7, 2015, the people of United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland head to the polls to elect a new parliament.
The battle is between incumbent Prime Minister, David Cameron and leader of the Conservatives; Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister and the leader of the Liberal Democrats.
Others in the race include Ed Miliband, leader of the Labour Party, Nicola Sturgeon who leads the SNP and Nigel Farage, the leader of UKIP.
David Cameron and his wife Samatha have just cast their ballots.
