Housemates Danny and Nic have been evicted from the show Big Brother Amplified on Sunday, June 19, 2011, leaving only 17 housemates left to slug it out for the top prize of $200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand US Dollars).
Africa voted in large numbers, making this week’s M-Net Big Brother Amplified vote one of the biggest ever – but Danny and Nic couldn’t pick up enough votes to stay in the game.
Five tail housemates Danny, Daren, Kim, Luclay and Nic were nominated on Friday, Jun 17 but the Ethopian and Kenyan men were the unlucky ones to be called out by show host IK after Ghanaian music trio VIP performed their latest song ‘Away’.
Viewers had also had the chance to hear from last week’s evictee Confidence who talked about her relationship with the boys in the house. ‘I got on well with the boys because I hang out with boys and I feel much more comfortable around them – but nothing romantic, not now!’, the 37-year-old Ghanaian explained.
This week housemates Zeus, Hanni, Vimbai, Wendall, Lomwe, Millicent, Felicia, and Sharon have been nominated for eviction.
