Daniel Ndambuki, better known as the comedian Churchill, has become the first Kenyan individual to reach 1 million likes on Facebook.
Ndambuki’s page is actually the third Kenyan owned to achieve such heights, but the other two are media organisations. Kenyan Television Network (KTN), achieved this milestone on Saturday, November 23, 2013 and now has 1.1 million likes. While NTV Kenya as at today has 1,013,354 likes.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is still fourth, with likes standing at 924,000 at the time of filing this piece. Citizen TV completes the top 5 with 894,000.
Daniel hosts the comedy TV show Churchill Live on NTV Kenya. He has worked in the comedy industry since 1996 and is a household name in Kenya.
