While Nollywood is still mourning the death of Nigerian actor David Ihezie who passed a week ago, another actor Lekan Lekinson has also passed away.
Reports say the Yoruba actor died yesterday Wednesday, January 25, 2012 after a long battle with diabetes. The news of his death has been confirmed by Hon. Rotimi Makinde, a fellow actor and legislator.
When we put a call to Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president Segun Arinze, he promised to get back to us on the news. We could not also immediately get a response from ANTP and NANTAP.
Lekinson was known for his many roles in Yoruba movies where he was usually portrayed as a minor antagonist.
