He scored again to earn a second record, for the most goals in the Premier League scored by a subtitute in the first half to join the exalted company of Lampard, Mourinho and Ronaldo.
Lampard broke Andy Cole’s record for scoring against the most Premier League clubs after netting against Chelsea, the club where he is record goalscorer, for Manchester City last season.
