Miss World 2012 is Wenxia Yu from The People’s Republic of China.
Yu was crowned in the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China on Saturday, August 18, 2012.
Mexico’s Mariana Berumen Reynoso came in as first runner-up, Australia’s Jessica Michelle Kahawaty was second runner-up and Jamaica’s Deanna Robins was fourth.
23-year-old Yu, who also won the ‘Miss World Talent’ competition earlier in the finals, studied music and speaks English fluently.
Nigeria’s representative Damiete Charles-Granville failed to make the semi-finals.
