The Hopes of many fans who had thought they would see US singer Chanté Moore perform live at the ‘Chante Moore Charity Concert’ last weekend were dashed as the show was postponed at the last minute.
As reported earlier, show organizers Virtual Xchange had announced that the respected vocalist was to perform at the charity concert alongside Nigerian acts Banky W and Wizkid to raise support for the treatment of pregnant women suffering from Acute Renal Failure. We’re told ‘more time was required to conclude the placement of a dialysis machine and ensure access to it by its beneficiaries’. The show organizers and Moore reportedly reached a conclusion to postpone the event which was to hold at the Harbour Point, Victoria Island on August 20.
A new date has however been set and the event will now hold on Sunday, October 23, 2011.
