How celebs reacted to their 2017 AMVCA nominations

Actress Michelle Dede and Kenyan actor, Fareed Khimani announced the nominees for 2017 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) on Wednesday, December 14, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos.

Historical movie, ‘76 which stars Ramsey Nouah and Rita Dominic leads with 14 nominations, followed by 93 Days with 12 nods, and Oloibiri with 10 nominations.

Akin Omotosho’s Vaya got seven nominations; AY Makun’s comedy film A Trip to Jamaica received five including for Best Movie, while Kunle Afolayan’s ‘The CEO’ got just two nominations.

The Best Actress in a Drama nominees include Ivie Okujaye, Rita Dominic, Adesua Etomi, Zimkhita Nyoka and Bimbo Akintola,

In the Best Actor category meanwhile, RMD, Olu Jacobs, Femi Jacobs and Ramsey Nouah are the nominees.
