Australian photographer, Russell James whose fame stems for his sensual yet tasteful photography, launches a new collectors’ edition book celebrating the female form titled Angels.
Russell James has launched a 300-page book celebrating femininity titled ‘Angels’ and the book offers an insight into his relationship with the models he has worked with.
The Australian photographer who is known for his love for nude art has worked with Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Lily Aldridge, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Candice Swanepoel.
According to Russell James: ‘I have found no greater challenge than creating a nude photograph that the subject herself will pronounce ‘beautiful’. It requires all the skills I have ever learned from creating very controlled technical lighting and conditions, deliberate composition and the hardest part of all, making an honest connection with the person in the photograph that will allow them to relax and partner in the process. The success of a nude shoot is based entirely on the trust level we reach and me having my act together behind the scenes on a technical level.’
