Last night, June 11, 2015, the official nominees list for the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards was unveiled at a star-studded reception at Harem, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Nigerian artistes dominate in 11 of the 13 categories with stars like Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Olamide and others all grabbing nominations but one Nigerian act is very bitter.
Burna Boy has taken to Twitter to register his displeasure for not getting ‘ANY’ nomination at all. He’s very disappointed but partly expected it because according to him: he never always gets what he deserves.
Really bummed @MTVbaseAfrica didn’t nominate me. I knew I wasn’t gunna win SHXT cuz I never get wat I deserve but damn this is quite deep.
