Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright, has lost her bid to contest for the House of Representatives on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ogun State.
The actress, who was one of the numerous entertainers interested in politics ahead of the 2015 general elections, lost to Joseph Sopade, a former aide of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who resigned to join the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
Bukky Wright and Sopade were vying for SDP ticket for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency of Ogun State. With the result, the pretty actress joins her colleagues like Kenny Saint Best, Kate Henshaw, Dayo Adeneye and 9ice who all lost at their various party primaries.
