Bruno Mars’ performance with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2014 was the most-watched halftime show ever with 115.3 million viewers, until his record was surpassed by Katy Perry’s performance on February 1, which was seen by 118.5 million viewers.

The 50th edition will hold on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California, and the likes of Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Maroon 5 and One Direction have been linked to perform.
